SLICE, DICE & RICE

In the fighting game Slice, Dice & Rice, there are no health bars to keep track of. It is centred on the concept of finding a gap in the defence of your opponent and finishing the round with a single blow that is clean and unobstructed. Gone are the tedious hit points; instead, each scratch will impair your movement, and each wound brings the possibility that it will be your last.

A fighting game that requires no memorization of inputs or move lists and is simple enough for anyone to pick up and play, with each character having a basic set of abilities that are immediately understandable. It is possible to fake an attack by cancelling a move, deflecting a hit by using a parry or dodge, and even having moves collide with one another. This results in a game that is heavily dependent on mind games and simulates real-life samurai battles.

Take control of one of the eight playable characters, each of whom has their own backstory and a distinct approach to combat. The casts of the game offer a wide variety of gameplay options, ranging from a swift monk who fights using only his fists to a muscular lady wielding a gigantic sword who trades speed and mobility for endurance while she attacks!
