The events of the first chapter are triggered by the appearance of a cluster of islands known as the Kark Isles in the vicinity of Ryza’s hometown. Ryza and her friends decide to investigate the isles after realising that this poses a danger to their home. They find ruins that include a massive gate. Ryza hears a strange voice in her head just as she is about to approach the gate. The voice tells her to get to the Code of the Universe as soon as possible. What exactly is beyond the gate, and what does it mean when it says “Code of the Universe”? Ryza and her friends embark on a fantastic journey that centres on a Key and the origins of alchemy in the vain hope that they will uncover a solution that will allow them to save their home.
Players are able to freely navigate the game world without having to wait for a loading screen because the game’s multiple maps are connected to one another in a seamless manner. Have fun adventuring in a dynamic and expansive world while enjoying a greater degree of freedom.
