KID A MNESIA EXHIBITION PS5 is a feverish chimerical space, an edifice constructed from the art and creatures, words and recordings of Radiohead’s Kid A and Amnesiac, discovered twenty years ago and then reassembled, and into which a new mutant life was breathed.
The artwork and writings of Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke, created to accompany the music of Kid A and Radiohead’s Amnesiac, are discovered and brought to life in a building hidden in the heart of a forest designed by pencil, thus expanding the idea of an exhibition to the breaking point… or to something entirely different.
The original multi-track recordings of Kid A and Amnesiac are scattered and re-formed in a series of impossible or possible spaces, populated by equally impossible or possible creatures, surrounded by the creations of Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke, who came to life at the dawn of the millennium.
