RemiLore is a “rogue-lite” anime-style adventure set in a colorful fantasy world where players hack-and-slash their way through an army of enemies using a huge variety of unique melee weapons and devastating magic attacks!
Overview
Remi, an ordinary high school student, has awakened Lore, a talking book who is a self-proclaimed “master” of magic. Together, they are drawn into the magical world of Ragnoah, which has been overtaken by nefarious mecha-monsters and a mysterious android girl known as ‘Choux’. Now Remi and Lore must venture together and find their way home.
The story follows Remi, a young witch apprentice, and Lore, a mischievous spirit bound to a magical grimoire. Together, they embark on a journey to restore Remi’s lost memories and uncover the secrets behind a mysterious plague that has afflicted the land. The narrative, while simple, is engaging enough to keep players invested, and the colorful world and quirky characters add a delightful touch of whimsy.
The core gameplay revolves around fast-paced combat against waves of enemies. Players control Remi directly, utilizing a variety of melee attacks and long-range spells. Lore, however, plays a crucial role in combat. By collecting “grimoire pages” scattered throughout levels, players can unlock new spells and enhance existing ones. These spells range from simple projectiles to powerful area-of-effect attacks, allowing for a diverse and strategic approach to combat.
