The game is set in 1988 and follows the story of two characters: Kazuma Kiryu, a young yakuza member, and Goro Majima, a former yakuza who now runs a cabaret club. The two characters’ stories intertwine as they both become involved in a deadly conflict between the Tojo Clan and the Dojima Family.
